Storyboard Text

  •
  •
  • Tell Daedalus to come to my island and bring his son. I have work for them.
  •
  • I want you to build me a secret maze called the Labyrinth. It should have so many tunnels that anyone that goes in it will never escape. Tell no one about it.
  • When Daedalus and Icarus had finished the maze, they realized the maze was to be a prison where Minos could keep a man eating monster. Despite the purpose of the maze, Daedalus asked for his payment. Minos denied him his payment and imprisoned him instead.
  •
  • Icarus!
  •
  • I have a plan to escape! I will collect the feathers from birds and turn them into wings so that we can fly away from here!
  •
  • Daedalus and Icarus flew out the window and headed for home.  Icarus got so excited that he started flying close to the sun and along the water
  •
  • The wax on the wings got melted by the sun and the spray from the ocean dampened the feathers. With the wings weakened, Icarus fell to his death and Daedalus had to return home without him.
