  • In the story, "Outsiders," Johnny killed a Soc, while it was trying to kill Ponyboy. Ponyboy could have left Johnny, and get him in jail, but instead he ran away from the police with him.
  • Honor
  • In "Outsiders" Johnny got injured while saving a few kids in the fire. Because of this, the Greasers went over to the hospital to check on him while he was in the hospital
  • Honor
  • In the beginning of the story, Johnny and Ponyboy are caught by the Socs. One of the Socs started to drown Ponyboy. Because the Greasers are all loyal to each other, Johnny went in to save Ponyboy. He killed the one killing Ponyboy, and scared the rest away.
  • Honor
  • In the book, "The Outsiders," Darry is always making sure Ponyboy is doing the right thing. He honors him because he doesn't want him to end up like himself.
  • Also, in the book, "The Outsiders," Dally looks after Johnny like Darry looked after Ponyboy. He honored him because he went through a lot of bad stuff, and wants him to live a good life.
  • Johnny you get hardened in jail. I don't want that to happened to you. Like it happened to me...
  • To add to this, Dally honored his life towards Johnny, and once he unfortunately passed away Dally felt that it was right to kill himself.
