Storyboard Text

  • Son I will give you immortality
  • This myth is about Hercules earning his immortality. At first Eurystheus and Hera made a plan so the Hercules would die, they were the 12 labors. Hera promised Hercules to give him immortality if he completed the tasks. Hercules was not dumb he asked the Oracle at Delphi if it was a good idea to go. She said yes, so Hercules left and did the 12 tasks. When he finished he went back but he didn't find Eurystheus or Hera. Zeus told his son not to worry so he gave him immortality and took him to the heavens.
  • I think that many greeks said this stories because they were interesting. They also read them becuase they believed in them, they were their gods. They also said them to keep their religion going for many generations. I think the purpose was to teach lessons.
