  • Alexander Pechersky was taken away from his home by the Nazis. He was taken to a labor camp during the Holocaust.
  • Climax
  • In Alexander's first escape attempt him and 4 other prisoners attempted to escape. Being caught later he decided his escape attempts weren't over.
  • Falling Action
  • After Peshersky was caught in his escape he an the other prisoners were transported to a different camp. At that camp him and may more prisoners starting planning an escape.
  • Resolution
  • At this new camp, the prisoner started their plan. First inviting guards into a building and killing them.
  • The prisoners then went to the gate and took it over using the guns of the dead guards. They threw rocks to destroy the mines.
  • The prisoners then ran and escaped to a non-nazi territory. They all split off into different places. 
  • Theme: One person can make a huge difference!
