After diagnosing Tim with food poisoning, the Doctor gave Tim a booklet on ways to avoid contaminating the salmonella bacteria in the future.
That would have done it! You will probably feel sick for about 3-5 days if you take this medicine twice a day
After reading through the brochure on the way hom, Tim realised where he went wrong.
1. Wash hands after touching animals 2. Avoid cross contamination;keep cooked and raw food seperate. 3. Cook chicken and eggs completely 4.Store/cook food at the correct tempreture
When Tim got home, he checked his fridge was at an appropriate temperature
Lower than 4, out of the danger zone
As the doctor has said, Tim felt sick for the next 4 days as he took his medicine twice a day.
Later in the week, Tim was feeling better. He was surprised at how easy it was to catch salmonella poisoning, and he avoided it following the precautions in the brochure.
