Junior gets a letter from his sister Mary runs away. The letter contains details from what her life is like now. The feeling of getting a letter from a loved one is exciting. Mary sends him multiple letters throughout the book giving him information of her new life.
Quote: "We had a turkey, and my mom cooked it perfectly. We also had mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. It was a feast."
The family Thanksgiving feast is something that hits home. The great experience of a family gathering for a big delicious dinner.

Nothing is better than grandma's advice. Just interacting with grandparent can bring the smile to anyone's face. Getting advice from a grandparent is heart warming.
