This storyboard does not have a description.
"God, I thank you that I'm not like other people"
Jesus would tell this parable to those who were confident in their self righteousness.
2 men went down to the temple to pray. One a Pharisee, the other a Tax Collector.
"God, have mercy on me, a sinner"
The Pharisee had stood by himself and said, "God, I thank you that I'm not like other people-robbers, evildoers, adulterers- or even like this Tax Collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of what I get"
The Tax Collector too stood alone and prayed to God. Too ashamed, he couldn't even look up to heaven.
He said "God, have mercy on me, a sinner"
The message of the story was to humble yourself and ask for forgiveness as did the Tax Collector and to not be self righteous as was the Pharisee for you will be exalted.
