Teacher: Today class, we will be learning about the three laws of Motion, otherwise known as Newton's laws of motion.
Teacher: Newton's First law: An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same velocity unless acted upon by an unbalanced force, this is also known as Inertia.
Teacher: for instance, if a car was traveling really fast, and the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt, if the car hit a tree, the car would stop due to the unbalanced force, but the driver would keep going until he too experience's an unbalanced force.
Teacher: Newton's Second law, is acceleration is force divided by mass, or F=ma, where F=Newton's, M= mass(kg), and A=Acceleration(m/s^2), And Newton's third law, is that an every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Teacher: For example, the force of a bus hitting another car would be defined of the acceleration of the buss times the mass of the car, And, when the bus hits the car, the bus is pushing on the car and the car is pushing back on the bus.
Teacher: Those are Newton's three laws of motion, tomorrow we will be learning about potential and kinetic energy, Class is dismissed.
