Storyboard Text

  • Fun Fact: More than 9,000 animals were killed in the Colosseum!
  • NO!  Bad Kitty!
  • In the Roman Colosseum, gladiators fight each other and wild animals like lions, elephants, and ostriches. Sometimes, they even fill the Colosseum up with water ad did mock sea battles!
  • We are the gladiator that fight in the Colosseum. We are usually specially trained former slaves or prisoners. The arena is a dangerous place for us and it is every man for themselves.
  • The Colosseum is said to be able to hold 87,000 people after it was finished. Even though estimates shows that it can probably only hold 50,000 people, that is still a lot of people watch other people get slaughtered. I mean seriously? What is wrong with you people these days?
