  • Theme
  • So what did you learn from the story Makerra?
  • I learned about friendship and how friends need to stick together.
  • Joey and Cassidy take this art class every summer when Cassidy comes to visit.
  • Rating
  • I would give this book 4 stars because this book did not interest me like many of his other books such as "The Nightmary's" and "The Stone Child." I would still recommend this to others because Dan Poblocki is a very good author.
  • Joey is telling the middle of the story and Hal is telling the end.
  • In the end, the Joey, Ping, Cassidy and me found how to beat the beast in the vortex. We used an old star shaped pendent, to offer the beast, but it didn't work so, Cassidy threw her book as an offering and broke the curse. Now all is right in Whitechapel.
  • Ursula and I discussing what I learned from the story.
  • Giving my opinion of the book.
