This storyboard does not have a description.
All you would have to do is multiply the numbers in the second set of parenthesis by negative one. So it would look like (7x^4+3x^2+2x+6)+(-12x^4+7x^2-9x-8) then you would just add like in the last example.
so then the answer would be -4x^4+10^2-7x-2
the last trick is for multiplying polynomials. here is an example (2x^2+7x+10) (7x^4+3x^2+2x+6) this is where it gets slightly tricky. You would take the first number in the first set of parenthesis , in this cas 2x^2 and multiply it by 7x^4, and 3x^2 and 2x and 6. then do the same with the second and the third number in the first set of parenthesis.
When you're done it should look like this. 19x^4+ -4x^2+11x+14
no problem I'm glad I could help!
wow! thanks that makes perfect sense.
What's the matter Angela?
