The Bombing of Japan
The Japanese launch a surprise attack on pearl harbor (Stationed in Hawaii). The Japanese pilots shot as many rounds into the stationary ships before ramming them at full speed. These pilots are called Kamikaze pilots.
After being pulled in to the war by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor, and after fighting for the Philipines, the Americans dropped two nukes (Fat Man and Little Boy) on Nagasaki & Hiroshima, which killed thousands almost instantly.
After the US had nuked Japan, causing the deaths of over 220,000 people, and after loosing most of its gained territories, the Japanese finally surrender. The Japanese were also the last of the axis powers to fall during the war.
