  • HUBRIS: SELF CONFIDENCE
  • There is no way anything can go wrong!
  • PERIPETEIA: A SUDDEN REVERSAL OF FORTUNE
  • You killed Tybalt. I am exiling you!
  • Romeo is impulsive when he switches from Rosaline to Juliet very quickly.
  • ANAGNORISIS: A CRITICAL DISCOVERY
  • Juliet is dead.
  • Romeo's feel as if nothing can go wrong in his life. He feels like he cannot mess up.
  • NEMESIS: THE INESCAPABLE AGENT OF DOWNFALL 
  • Romeo eliminates Tybalt. Then Prince Escalus exiles him from Verona. This is where he begins to have suicidal thoughts.
  • CATHARSIS: THE PROCESS OF RELEASING REPRESSED EMOTIONS
  • Romeo learns of Juliet's death needs to see her body himself.
  • What? No!
  • Romeo purchases a poison and drinks it right in front of Juliet
  • Romeo dies very soon after drinking the poison.
