On April 9, 2017 just before 5:20 p.m., O'Hare International Airport police forcibly removed passenger David Dao from United Express Flight 3411 after he refused to depart the airplane upon the demand of management. Dao screamed as officers pulled him out of his seat, and his face hit an armrest during the struggle.
After struggling and screaming to get them away from him, he gets knocked out and is dragged off of the plane by police, later reported that there was blood by his mouth as he was getting dragged off the plane.
Untied said he was treated wrong and will never had an incident like that again and wanted to apologize.
United said they randomly chose four passengers t come off the planer for the flight crew members to come on and no one agreed to come off. 3 people were respectful and came off, but the last one said no, even though United promised all those passengers seats, they could not keep that promise.
United paid David 1000 dollars in money and said there apologies, after the flight took off, and he woke up from his unconsciousness he said he was trying to say he had patients at home to take care off because he is a doctor.
Now that this is all over we think that everyone is trying at United to get this past them and never have this happen to them again, for United, the people and other airlines too.
