  • Fortunado had only insulted Montresor, this isnt a big deal he could have talked to Fortunado about it

  • Montresor states "Fortunado had insulted me. So I vowed revenge." (27, Allen Poe)
  • This shows that Montresor was over reacting and all Fortunado did was insult Montresor.
  • In conclusion, Montresor was over reacting about the insult and he could have talked to Fortunado about the insult.
