Braeden Carolan, Period 8/9
This storyboard does not have a description.
Once you've done this, you should have x+3+10.
Well, first you would want to use RAE to get rid of the subtraction.
Mrs. Young, how would you solve x-(-3)=10?
You KFC. This means to keep the (x), flip the (-), and change the (3) to a (-3).
Why is it x+3=10? Why do you change the -3 and the subtraction symbol?
Therefore, you must subtract 3 from both sides because of the equality property of subtraction.
So with x+3=10, you would need to do inverse operations. This means to subtract 3 from both side to get the variable by itself.
What would you do next?
You have to subtract x+3 by 3 which gives you x and then subtract 10 by 3 which gives you 7, so you answer would be x=7.
So what would your final answer be?
