  • Good thing we have these long bows!
  • From 1337 to 1453, the Hundred Years war was fought between the British and French.  The British had been trying to take over France, which sparked the war. The British would win battle, after battle, after battle.
  • I think we've been beating up on the French for way too long, we should propose a treaty.
  • I agree.  We will name it the Treaty of Troyes.
  • Back in the British kingdom...
  • We come in peace to propose a treaty.  But since we made this treaty for you, I get to be heir tot the French throne.
  • We agree to the treaty.
  • In the French kingdom...
  • RIP to our king.
  • A couple of years later, King Henry V died.
  • After the king died, the French then disputed the treaty and war broke out again
