Storyboard Text

  • My dear Fortunato, you are luckily met. How remarkably well you are looking to-day
  • Montrosor Says that Furtunado has insulted him and he must take his revenge. He uses Furtunado being drunk and that he is a connoisseur of wines.
  • But I have received a pipe of what passes for Amontillado, and I have my doubts.
  • He tells Furtunado that he has acquired a cask of amontillado. He uses that to get Furtunado interested
  • Amontillado? A pipe? Impossible! And in the middle of the carnival!
  • As you are engaged, I am on my way to Luchesi. If any one has a critical turn, it is he. He will tell me—
  • He uses Luchesi to get Furtunado upset. It is a sure fire way to get him in the catacombs
  • Luchesi cannot tell Amontillado from Sherry.
  • Maybe we should go back
  • Montresor makes him more persistent by saying we should go back. He also gives him more alcohol to insure that he stays drunk
  • A draft of this Medoc will help us
  • I drink, to the buried that repose around us.
  • This cold is nothing!
  • Herein the Amontillado! As for Luchesi-
  • He says they have reached the amontillado and brings up Luchesi to make sure he goes into the niche. This makes Furtunado more persistent to do as Montrosor asks
  • He is an ignoramus
  • In pace requiescat
  • Montosor traps him in the niche and chains him. He piles stones in front of him and throws a torch in there. All that is left to be heard is a jingle of the conicle cap
