Storyboard Text

  • Hi i'm John I study stars and learn about there life cycles this star here is in the Stellar Nebula stage. The Nebula stage is when the star is a big ball of gas and dust. Nebulas are the birthplace of stars
  • Now is in its Average Star stage. An average star is a luminous globe of gas producing its own heat and light by nuclear reactions. They are born from nebulae and consist mostly of hydrogen and helium gas.
  • And this is its Red giant stage. A red giant is a large, bright star, with a cool surface. A red giant has a diameter that is 10 to 100 time bigger than the sun
  •
  • This is a planetary nebula. A planetary nebula is a glowing shell of ionized gas ejected from red giant stars late in their lives.
  • This is a white dwarf star. Its a very small but hot star and it is its in its last stage in the life cycle of a star like the sun. The white dwarf is about the size of the earth
  •
  • This is a black dwarf. A black dwarf is a theoretical stellar remnant, specifically a white dwarf that has cooled sufficiently that it no longer emits significant heat or light.
