Storyboard Text

  • Beowulf walks around the cave and looks for Grendel's mother. She senses Beowulf's' approach so she attacks him but Beowulf's armor was too strong for her to break so Beowulf grabbed a sword hanging off the all and killed her.
  • I hope he's alive.
  • Beowulf is still in the cave as his men wait for him to arise from under water. They worry about him and suspect he's dead. But he arises and has claimed another victory and saved the Danes again.
  • Where is he?
  • My adventures were very dangerous but I killed Grendel and his mother and received many riches that I shall share with you.
  • Beowulf explains his journey to the king of the Geats, and shares some of his rewards and riches with him.
  • You truly are a hero Beowulf thank you for what you've given me and congratulations on your victories.
  • Another danger has arisen. A dragon is angry about a thief stealing it's treasure, so it destroys everything in its path to find the thief. Beowulf's hall is destroyed so Beowulf seeks revenge on the dragon, he agrees to fight it but only if it comes out of his burrow and onto land.
  • I'm going to destroy everything until I find that thief!
  • Beowulf and Wiglaf fight side by side against the dragon. Beowulf gets bitten in the neck, Wiglaf attacks the dragon trying to protect his king. While Wiglif is fighting Beowulf pulls out a dagger and stabs the dragon and kills it. Beowulf tells Wiglaf he must rule the Geats and then dies.
  • We must defeat the dragon!
  • I'll kill you both!
  • I will help you Beowulf
  • The people of Geatland mourned in their grief of the death of their king. They did as he wished, made a shrine for him and put his body to sea and lit it on fire. That was the end of Beowulf's story...the end.
  • He was such a great person and a great leader...
