Storyboard Text

  • Tom lives a life of misery, and hates his nagging wife. They are constantly trying to ONE-UP each other.
  • One day, Tom takes a short cut through the woods and disturbs dark character. The dark person is revealed to be the devil and makes a deal with Tom, saying he will disclose the location of Pirate Kidd's treasure for a favor.
  • Tom tells his wife of the treasure, but she gets restless and decides to look for it herself. To Tom's delight, he finds that she went missing and accepts the offer of the Devil and agrees to become and usurer in Boston.
  • Tom has aged tremendously in Boston, cheating people out of money gaining wealth. But he begins to think about the repercussions of making a deal with the devil and becomes very religious.
  • One day the Devil shows up to take Tom's soul, but Tom is does not have his bible to protect him. Suddenly Tom is taken away by a horse and is never seen again.
  • The story of Tom Walker ends there, but his legacy does not. Some say their towns are haunted by the shadowy figure on horseback. This could undoubtedly be the restless spirit of the usurer.
