The fascia is the thin sheath of fibrous tissue that's in and around fascicles.
Muscle fibers contained within the fascia.
Okay that makes sense. What makes up the fascicles?
Myofibrils. They are small fibers that make up the fascicles. When the muscle is activated the myofibrils contract and then elongate when the muscle is relaxed.
