I cant wait to fly !!!
Daedalus and his son Icarus are put in jail by the king.
Never fly too close to the sun or too close to the water!
Daedalus manages to escape, but needs a way to get off the island him and his son are currently on.
Daedalus uses feathers, wax, and his skills to build wings for him and Icarus to fly to the main land.
Daedalus teaches Icarus how to use the wings and what not to do when flying. He told Icarus to not fly too close to the water or too close to the sun.
They both begin to fly and when Icarus flies too close to the sun, the wax from the wings melt and he falls to the water.
Daedalus can not find his son so then hangs his wings at a temple of Apollo, god of the sun, and apologizes for flying. He now knows only gods should be able to fly.
