This is the story of how the Malcolmson's came to Canada
It all stared in 1847 on an island just off the main land of Scottland. The Malcolmson's owned a large house and were known for their sailing.
Back then families usually consisted of many kids and because of the potato famine that was going on, money and food was scarce.
For the three boys it was to cramped and they decided to sail their way to Canada for a new life. They had to overcome many challenges such as lack of food, scurvy, depression, fierce winters and even vikings.
