  • French Revolution: Introduction
  • Factors That Led to the Revolution
  • Meeting of the Estates General
  • Riots broke out and the prices of bread were high with people losing jobs. Most nobles didn't even worry because they thought it was an economic problem. Although the current state of France was very bad.
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • People were growing resentments among the lower classes. New ideas were made about the government. There were being of serious economic problems.The leader was weak and indecisive. Were rebuilding the food shortage.
  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • The first meeting of the French Estates-General. A general assembly representing the French estates. They moved closer to democracy with this important event.
  • The Great Fear
  • The Oath in which they swore to "never to separate and to meet wherever the circumstances might require until we have established a sound and just constitution". With this they moved closer to democracy
  • After the storming of the Bastille which was considered a symbol to the French people representing years of the monarchy.
  • The peasants revolt and obtain all the weapons needed for the Revolution they ended up running around terror and killing.
