This storyboard does not have a description.
Lisse and her friends become unemployed.Lisse gets on the bus thinking that she is going to her D.A alone, but her friends show up as she gets off the bus.
The group enters the D.A with nothing but credits. The group decides to rent an apartment. This apartment is their safe zone throughout the story.
Lisse and the group was trying to find out about the game for a about one year. They meet Charlie and try to get information out of him.The group ends up getting ambushed. The group escapes.A month or so later the group gets an invite to the game. This scene is supposed to be Barton Oaks
I chose this scene because I thought Lisse leaving the school and becoming an unemployed was when the story actually started. This scene started the invitation to the game.
This sand dune represents the mesa that the group was climbing to get the vantage point. This is apart of the game. When the group first awakens they find themselves in a desert and close to a mesa. The group wanted to climb up the mesa to get a vantage point. While they were climbing the mesa Lisse slipped and cut her finger.Scylla helps her on the way up the mesa. They see a lake but now they have to climb down. While Lisse is climbing down she slipped and fell all the way down the mesa landing on her back. Now they were back at Barton Oaks.
I chose this scene because, in the story The group gets an apartment. This apartment is their safe zone because Brad set up all these mechanisms fort heir apartment. No stranger could get in.In the apartment they had a sense of being safe and cozy. They cooked warm good food, they had a soft wool bed.
This home represents the group and the other group that they met while going to a mesa that they first saw on the first day of the game.Everyone got married and they all worked together to make a settlement.
I chose this scene because this is the only way the group got into the game.Barton oaks gave the unemployed entertainment.Barton Oaks an the game was the only thing the group had hope for and the only thing the group would live for.Barton Oaks was the only thing to escape reality and enter the virtual world.
"This was the last day of school history class, and the horror begins".Thos quote was at the end of the book and i thought it was one of the craziest plot twists ever.I was thinking the story was just going to end slowly and not exiting just like throughout the book, but i was amazed because of the plot twist.
I chose this scene because at this point in the story they were in the game, and they didn't know what happened when you die. This mesa gave them a lesson. This lesson was that when you die in the game you don't die in real life. This mesa is also important because later in the story this mesa gives them a good life.
I chose this scene because this represented their "prize" that they were going to get and they got told.To the group this new prize was very valuable to them.A fresh new piece of land. Not touched by humans. The whole prize the group was trying to get was not what they were expecting but better what they were expecting.
I chose this scene because i thought it was very interesting.I also chose this scene because after i read the last line of the book, reading the book seemed useless.I was very curious.Thats why this book is good it made me think and even try to find out if it was a dream,a timeline thing,or even if it was all real.
