T.L.O. And her friend get caught in the girls bathroom that they had a pack of cigarettes by a teacher. And they sent to to see vice presidential.
T.L.O. And her friend were in girls bathroom. Suddenly, a teacher walked in and found out they had a box of cigarette. Then she took them to the principal office.
T.L.O.'s friend admitted the crime. The vice principal searched T.L.O. Purse because of his own reasonable searching about T.L.O. refuse.
T.L.O. has been sent to the supreme court of the United States after the judement in New Jersey State court.
Based on the fourth amendment, the state court thought the searching of T.L.O. Handbag was unreasonable because the vice principal shouldn't open the deep zip inside her bag. T.L.O. didn't accept the result. So she abuced the Supreme Court of the United States.
T.L.O. wanted to express that her purse zip has been open by force.
Judge Marshall: Based on the fourth amendment and the 6:3 voting result, I anounce T.L.O. Is not guilty.
