My results for my test came in, I carefully pull back the corner to reveal an A, circled in red ink. I blink my eyes in shock, as I peer over at Megan. She is still asleep with her hands draped over her stomach. I continue looking at her, thinking WHY DOES SHE NEED TO BE HERE SHE IS RUINING MY LIFE I HAVE SCHOOL TO FOCUS ON. I WISH SHE WOULD JUST GO AWAY. I close my eyes and go to sleep.
I awake to the banging on the walls around me. I open my eyes, to first see an ugly print of purple wallpaper that strains my eyes. I look to my left and right looking for Megan. I start to freak out as I pull the sheets off of me. I then try to locate where I am, so I walk outside.
Outside the eyesore room, there seems to be an odd feeling. Everyone seemed cloned, I knew this was not where I was supposed to be, almost as if this was not earth. The sign at the edge of the path reads: Welcome to the planet of Abous. I stood in confusion as I think to myself, how did I end up here? I then realized I wished for Megan to go away. I didn't mean it in that way. I set out to find Megan that morning.
I continued hiking to find Megan. I encounter a river, it seemed to be calm, I gently dip my foot in, and ideality pull my foot back out. THATS COLD! I think. I look up to realize that the river isn't too wide, I quickly rush to the other side of the river.
My feet are finally dry by the time I reach a new part of Abous, the mountain area. I glance up at the peek, that would be a good place for Megan. I begin the journey to climb the mountain, my feet ache as they crunch the stone under my worn out shoes. I continue to stride up the hill, looking for a place to rest.
I finally approach the top of the mountain, It is too dark to see. I find a place to rest by a stack of bricks, it felt so good to get off my worn out feet, it felt as if they had holes in them. My head was pounding, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
