The Choragus is very upset at Antigone's fate. Antigone is asking him to see her as a women who will never marry and a women who is about to die.
Antigone compares her situation with Niobe. Assuring her, the chorus, tells her she will have a better afterlife.
Antigone believes Oedipus has cursed her. She blames the curse for he fate, but the chorus beileves that it was Antigones actions that caused her fate.
