Storyboard Text

  • Audrey has just been contacted by a recruiter for Google for the position of financial analyst! Her interview is scheduled 3 days away. Excited and nerve wrecked, she decides to start preparing for her interview.
  • She has her resume up to date and is prepared for questions she may be asked
  • Audrey shakes hands with her interviewer, Eden, and formally introduces herself.
  • Hello, Eden, I'm Audrey. It's a pleasure to meet you!
  • Be mindful of what the interviewer is asking and give straightforward replies
  • I want to do cool things that matter, with people that share the same core mission as I: doing things that matter.
  • So why do you want to work for Google?
  • Google would want the user to use whichever item led to more clicks on ads/more relevant ads. Google would be able to gather more information about a user from a Chromebook than a laptop - more info means more targeted ads
  • A user has a Chromebook, an Android phone, and a regular laptop. Which device do you think Google would want the user to use more?
  • When a problem arises, do you step in and take charge?
  • I consider myself to be more of an emergent leader than a traditional leader. I get involved when it’s most appropriate to.
  • Audrey procedes to ask a few of her own questions
  • Here, our philosophy is that great, creative things are more likely to happen with the right company culture. We put great stock in our employees–energetic, passionate people from diverse backgrounds with creative approaches to work, play and life.
  • What exactly does this company value most?
