On a cold winter day on the farm, there is a wolf walking in the snow. He saw the farmer going out to the stable when he started to slip. The wolf ran over and protected him from hitting the ground.
Spring is about to come and the snow is starting to melt. The birds are flying in. They are bringing the sun with them. The squirrels have eaten their whole stock of acorns.
The horses are so excited that the snow is gone, they can finally run in the pastures. The sun is shining bright and warm. "I'm hungry, give me some hay" the horse tells the farmer.
Fall is coming and the deer start to come out. The deer says to the farmer, "please don't shoot me." The farmer replies, "but I'm really hungry."
The wolf appears again as winter starts to come. He is excited for another winter season on the farm. The wold says, "I hope the farmer doesn't slip and fall again."
The wolf represents winter. The birds and squirrel represent spring. The horse symbolizes summer and the deer represents fall. When these animals appear, it's a beginning of a new season.
