...and that's why puppies ruin the world. And now to our star reporter Sue Flay with a story about solar energy, Sue.
The attempts to harness solar energy have been increasing over recent years. However with new technology comes varying beliefs that may not be entirely true. Today, we hit the streets to see what individuals thinks about solar energy. With me is Mrs. Polly Ester, Polly, what do you think about the new integration of solar panels?
In my day we didn't need this newfangle technology we had good old fashioned hard work! Our hands and feet worked rain or shine unlike these so-called "solar panels" which only work when its sunny out!
This woman has made an excellent point! I may have ample amounts of power when the weather is nice and sunny but what will I do when it's cloudly outside?!
Actually, solar panels utilize ultraviolet light, which is still present on cloudy days. This is the reason why you should still wear sunscreen in the winter. In fact Germany, who has one of the fewest amounts of sunny days, produces the greatest amount of solar energy. Not only that but when cold solar panels actually work more effectively as conductors of electricity.
Wow, this is riveting, now let's discover what the average person has to say about solar panels! I have with me Mr. Robin Banks who worries about the cost of the technology. Robin?
