  • Exposition: Setting: in New York The narrator is trying to tell the readers he is not crazy.
  • Conflict: The narrator get really annoyed with the old mans eye.
  • Rising Action: The young man goes into the old mans room at night and is planing to kill him.
  • Climax: The narrator goes into his room at night and flips the bed over on the sleeping old man. the old man suffocate under the bed and dies.
  • Falling Action: The narrator then takes the old man and cuts off all of his arms and legs. He takes the body parts and hides them underneath a plank in the house. The police come and check out the house
  • Exposition: The narrator keeps hearing the old mans heart beating his mind and starts to go crazy about it. He can't take it anymore and amidts to the police he killed the old man
