  • We should elect Adams, he is clearly the better match for our president. He's what America needs and blah blah blah blah....
  • It is the election of 1824. The three candiates are Henry Clay, Andrew Jackson, and John Quincy Adams. All three are popular, but only in their home states.
  • President's Office
  • Looks like no one won the majority... now the House of Representatives must choose the new POTUS.
  • Outside the White House
  • The government is CORRUPT!!
  • Wait a second... Henery Clay is using his influence in the house to make Adams president! And it's working!
  • Congress
  • No.
  • Adams is the new president! To thank Clay for the help, he has awarded Clay with the position of Secetary of State.
  • Hey, since you helped me become president, want to be Secretary of State?
  • Sure! Why not.
  • However, Jackson's followers were not pleased. They accused of Clay and Adams that the deal they made was a "Corrupt Bargain" and that neither of them should be in their current position.
  • Jackson should've won!
  • They helped each other to power!!!
  • This is turn cast a shadow over Adams' presidency, and made the rest of Congress turn down most of his proposals, making him useless as a president. (And he didn't get reelected either!)
