Every day teens are being peer pressured to do things they don’t want to do just to be considered “cool”. Most of them will be told “But everyone is doing it”. But you don’t have to be a part of everyone.
I say be yourself and stand up for what you think is the right thing to do to even if you won’t be considered cool because if someone who is in the same situation sees you say no they will have the confidence to say no too.
Teens will be pressured to do more on spring break than most parts of the year. Approximately 75 percent of teens have reported having increased pressure to drink during spring break.
With Spring Break right around the corner avoiding peer pressure is even more important.
Everyone has heard a spring break horror story. Don’t be one of those statistics this year. Instead, play it safe, avoid peer pressure and have fun.
