This storyboard does not have a description.
Blanche is a woman who believes she is great and deserves the best out of life. Although she has done some horrible things in her life she pretends that she is a perfect woman. " Her appearance is incongruous to the setting. She is daintly dressed in a white suit with a fluffy bodice, necklace and earrings of pearl, white gloves and hat, looking as if she were arriving at a summer tea or cocktail party in the garden district."
Stanley: You see under the Napoleonic code a man has to take an interest in his wife's affairs- especially now that she's going to have a baby. Blanche: Stella? Stella going to have a baby? I didn't know she was going to have a baby.
Stanley is a man who loves to assert his dominance. He is pissed off that Blanche was able to prove that her story of Bella Reve was true so in order to be back in charge he finds a way of hurting Blanche
Blanche: Stop it. Let go of that broom. I won't have you cleaning up for him. Stella: Then who's going to do it? Are you? Blanche:..... Stella: No, I didn't think so.
Blanch wants Stella to stand up for herself and finally get Stanley to do something around the house. But Stanley is a man who loves being in charge, he is the "king" of his house, he is the one that tells others what to do not the other way around.
In our society men love to be in charge, they do not like disorder in their own home, they want to have control but there may be a woman who comes and causes disorder in their life which they will try to fix any way they see possible.
