Storyboard Text

  • Oh, boy. My last day of presidency. Whatever shall I do?
  • 12:01 AM...
  • Groovy!
  • I'd better appoint some Ferderalist judges. William Marbury, you are the Justice of the peace once James Madison hands you your appointment.
  • Actually, no. I'm in office now. I'm Thomas Jefferson and I approve this message.
  • This is an outrage! I bet I could sue that Madison guy under the Judiciary Act though...
  • William Marbury, while you should've gotten to be able to be a judge, Supreme court doesn't have the authority to. Also, the Judiciary act is unconstitutional .
  • This trial was significant because established judicial review, which is the ability for Supreme Court to declare a law unconstitutional.
