Thank God we have the Nile for transportation, trade and food
The Nile River runs from south to north and ends in the Mediterranean Sea. Egypt is a country in Africa. The Red Sea is to the east and the Mediterranean Sea is to the North.
Here in Egypt we believe in polytheism. Pharaohs like me are gods in human form. We also believe in afterlife.
Ancient Egypt was very advanced. They built pyramids, the Sphinx, invented hieroglyphics and used papyrus to make boats, sandals and paper.
Ancient Egypt traded with many people. They would travel through the Nile River, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea by boat.
In Ancient Egypt Pharaohs were at the top of the social structure. Then it was the priests and government officials. Soldiers were next. Then farmers. and lastly slaves. People could move up the social structure if they worked hard. Kids did not go to school much and kids married young.
