Meet the Narrator
What goes "Bump" in the night.
No Evidence Found!
The narrator claim why he is there and repeatedly says "I am not mad." Which leads you to believe he is mad, especially when he says "I must rid myself of the eye I must kill the Oldman!"
He talks about how he looks in on the Oldman for 7 mights but each time the vulture eye is closed so he can't kill him, but On the eight night the narrator's thumb slips on the latch of the lantern thus waking up the Oldman and when the narrator sees the old mans eye he kills him.
The Tell Tale Heart
The Narrator cuts up the body and sticks it under the floorboards so that no evidence can be found.
A neighbor calls the police and they arrive just as the Narrator finishes up the job and it is nearing dawn
The narrator Finally gives in because he thinks that the policemen are just messing with him. he tells the police of his crime.
The trial is held and the narrator proclaims he is guilty and is sentenced to 20 years in jail.
