This year the Superbowl is being held in water-scarce San Francisco, and we here at the NFL want to make sure that fans at the stadium and at their homes across the nation are keeping sustainability a priority
The EPA notes the San Francisco Bay Delta Watershed is facing a number of significant environmental and economic challenges. Population growth, increasing water demand, loss of habitat and water pollution continue to present difficulties in planning for the watershed’s future
California at large is facing enormous water paucities. From the half-million acres of parched and idle farmland to the swaths of receding reservoirs, the signs of California's historic drought are obvious and it is our responsibility to help this city, state and country to do what we can to minimize our impact during the superbowl
