The tooth fairy
By bunz, Updated
english short story
Mother has always told us to stay away from the evil white woman Madame Lalaurie, but this time she gave me permission. It was my job to extract her front tooth while she laid upon her evil slumber.
The door knob suddenly began to shake as if someone were trying to open it. I quickly stepped away from her bed side and slowly creeped towards the opened window. The handle continued to shake as I was leaving out the way I came, without warning the door slowly opened with an erie creek.
Madame Lalaurie was still silently asleep in her luxurious bed, completely clueless about the predator lurking amongst the shadows.
Screams and grunts were heard from inside the room. Could Madame Lalaurie be dead?
I swiftly ran towards the door to make my escape, but I was stopped immediately by dizziness and fatigue.
My head was splitting and the room was spinning wildly, that is how I knew she'd knocked me out cold.
