  • Conflict
  • Oh how I miss my Lenore!
  • Rising Action
  • *Tap* *Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
  • Who is that tapping at my chamber door?
  • There was an old man sitting in his chair reading; he was almost asleep. It was midnight in the month of December.
  • Climax
  • Nevermore
  •  Oh will I ever see my lost Lenore?
  • The old man is sad and weary. He hopes to find happiness from the sorrow of his lost Lenore.
  • Falling Action 
  •  Leave!
  • The tapping at his chamber door begins and gets louder and louder as he's trying to nap and he opens the door to find nothing but darkness.
  • Rising action
  • He hears the tapping even louder and opens the shutter to find a Raven that made no obeisance to him. The man enjoyed his company until he asked the raven if he will ever see his lost Lenore. The raven replied with "nevermore" and the man becomes furious with the bird.
  • The old man is telling the raven to leave after the raven said he was never gonna see his lost Lenore. The Raven does not move.
  • The raven still sits on the pallid bust of Pallas above his chamber door  with his shadow cast upon the floor and the raven still does not move.
