Teddy was vice president when president McKinley was giving a speech at the Pan-American Exposition.
Ladies, Ladies. Stop fighting over me.
Then McKinley was assassinated and Teddy became President.
R.I.P Yay! Man “Yay! I’m Dead!”
As president he aggressively used the Sherman Antitrust Act to get rid of large trusts.
In May 1902, anthracite coal miners went on strike, threatening a national energy shortage. Teddy stopped this by giving both sides a little bit of what they wanted.
During his presidency he also dug the panama canal.
Teddy was able to choose his successor. He chose William Howard Taft. This is how he came out of presidency.
