The Spanish ruled over Venezuela for about three centuries and really shaped the country's culture and history.
When the spanish came they were looking for riches. When they found little the Spanish made the Natives do the work.
Bolivar helped get Venezuela's independence. Soon after, when oil was discovered, the dictators were somewhat evil and kept the profits for themselves. This did not benefit the people.
People of venezuela mainly descend from indians, africans and europeans. They still embrace some of that culture.
Most Venezuelans make their money from ranches, farming, and oil.
There are many different types of ranches and ariculture. One was the Llanreos who herd cattle.
