Storyboard Text

  • In 1942, Bruno and his family moved from Berlin, Germany to Poland. The house that they move in, Bruno likes to call it "Out-With".
  • When arriving at Auschwitz (Out-With), it was all about the Nazi's and the Jew's. Concentration camps were built and the Jew's were being killed by the Nazi's.
  • One day, Bruno decided to go exploring (even though Mother never let him) and he found this fence. Behind the fence he found this boy named Shmuel (a Jewish boy).
  • While Shmuel and Bruno were talking one day, Shmuel came to the fence and told Bruno that he couldn't find his grandfather, Bruno (being a nice young boy), wanted to help Shmuel find his grandfather. Bruno, in return, went into the camp to help Shmuel look.
  • Bruno told Shmuel that he wanted to go home but they never found Shmuels grandfather. Bruno ended up staying and looking for a little bit more and the soldiers told them to start marching (death march).
  • MARCH!!
  • The march stated from outside, of course it wasn't a pretty march. Bruno and Shmuel end up walking into the gas chambers and passing away. Mother and Gretel moved back to Berlin and Father kept working.
