Storyboard Text

  • Scene 1
  • "Take thou this vial, bring then in bed, and this distillèd liquor drink thou off, when presently through all thy veins shall run a cold drowsy humor, for no pulse shall keep..."
  • "And ere this hand, by thee to Romeo sealed, shall be the label to another deed, or my treacherous revolt turn to another, this shall slay them both."
  • Scene 2
  • "Pardon, I beseech you! Henceforward I am ever ruled by you."
  • "Send for the county. Go tell himvof this. Ill have this knot knit up tomorrow morning."
  • Scene 3
  • "How if, when I am laid into the tomb, I wake before the time that Romeo come to redeem me? There's a fearful point...Romeo, Romeo,Romeo! Here's drink. I drink to thee"
  • This scene starts out with Friar Lawrence talking with Juliet. She tells the Friar that she would rather kill herself than marry Paris. So, the Friar comes up with a solution. He gives Juliet a vial of sleeping serum, that will make everyone think she's dead when she drinks it. Then Romeo will find her in an open casket in Manuta and they will be together again.
  • Scene 4
  • "Go waken Juliet. Go and trim her up. I'll go and chat with Paris. Hie, make haste, make haste. The bridegroom he is come already. Make haste, I say"
  • This scene starts with Juliet getting back to her home, after talking with Friar Lawrence. When she sees her father, she gets down on her knees and begs for her father's forgiveness because she argued with him about marrying Paris. Her father is so pleased that she did this, he moves the wedding up to the next morning.
  • Scene 5
  • "Lady, lady , lady! Alas, Alas! Help, help! My lady's dead! Oh, welladay, that ever I was born! Some aqua vitae, ho! My lord! My lord! My lady!"
  • This scene starts with Juliet in her room. She then starts talking to herself, about how she has doubts in taking the vial. She's scared that she would wake in the casket before Romeo comes, or if she never actually wakes up from the serum. She then decides to drink the vial, and falls on her bed, hidden by her bed curtains.
  • Prediction in Act 5
  • This scene starts with Lord Capulet planning everything for the wedding. Then, Paris shows up at the house. Since Juliet is still in her room when he arrives, Lord Capulet calls for the Nurse to go wake Juliet and get her dressed.
  • This last scene starts out with the Nurse calling for Juliet to wake up. She opens the bed curtains and finds Juliet "dead". The Nurse calls everyone in, and they all see Juliet. When the Friar comes in, he suggests that they put her into a casket and bury her, just like all her ancestors. Lord Capulet then declares that the wedding will be turned into a funeral.
  • In scene 5, I predict that the Capulets will find out that Friar Lawrence has been helping Romeo and Juliet have a relationship. I think that when the Lord Capulet finds out about this, he will have the Friar killed for all that he as caused.
