  • Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. (It produces energy for the cell). This means Mitochondria and Metabolism are similar because they both use energy to power life's processes.
  • Metabolism
  • Chloroplast contains chlorophyll. This organelle helps make plants green, with photosynthesis taking place. Homeostasis and chloroplast are alike because they help maintain plant cells through global climate change.
  • Homeostasis
  • Cell membrane helps maintain the shape of a cell. However each cell has a different development in shape and maybe even size.
  • Development
  • Nucleolus makes ribosomes. It reproduces ribosomes for the cell. It makes 5 to 10 million ribosomes when a cell divides.
  • Reproduction
  • A brown bear can lose and gain fur. This happens if the climate changes. This makes them sensitive to the environment. They become sensitive when they need to adapt to climate changes.

  • Growth
  • All through K-12 you develop smarter and wiser brains. Everything to you that was funny in kindergarten might not be funny in 2nd grade, this becomes growth.
