Summary: This comic book summarizes the main themes of the book "Metamorphosis". The two themes that are shown in this comic book is the lack of sympathy and family duty. Gregor wakes up to realize that he is a vermin but finds out that this isn't a dream it's reality. Gregor really doesn't care that he is a vermin. In page 2 of the comic book it says "...prefers to go back to sleep." This is basically saying that when Gregor found out he was a vermin, he really didn't care so he decided to fall asleep showing lack of sympathy. The other theme this comic book covers is family duty. Gregor is responsible for working everyday so he can pay his parents debt. In page 9 of the comic book it states that "...I need this job to pay off my parents debt...I need to provide for my family." This is describing how Gregor is working to pay off his parents debt as a duty. To conclude this comic book reviews the major themes which is lack of sympathy and family duty.
