Water Cycle Comic Strip Part 1
This storyboard does not have a description.
My name's Wilma and I am a water droplet. What just happened is called precipitation. I came down here because of the rain. However, some water droplets come down as snow, sleet, or hail. Now, I am doing the process of surface runoff.
What I just did there is called transpiration! It's the water movement through plants, and in this case a tree.
Now I'm in the ground due to the process of infiltration. Infiltration is when water gets soaked into soil and goes underground.
"Wilma is now traveling through the soil and out into the ocean."
"Wilma has now gone through the process of evaporation. She has now changed from liquid form to gas form. Wilma is now water vapor."
Wilma was stuck in a cloud. However, she can come back down due to the process of condensation, which will make her go from gas form to liquid form. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation.
