Animal Evolution - Science
This storyboard does not have a description.
How do chameleons adapt to their environment?
The green one has sticky feet to climb trees, on the other hand the beige one doesn't have sticky feet.
There are two different chameleons in this desert area. The green chameleons can climb trees while the beige one cannot.
In this environment so variations are better than others because some chameleons can climb trees while other can't and get eaten by predators.
As you can see, some chameleons blended in with the environment better than others so that why they had a bigger population than the other species.
In this environment the chameleon with best adaptations will survive while the other species will die off and go extinct before reproducing. The ones who survive will grow in population.
Congratulation, now you have learned about chameleons and their environment adaptations. Thanks for reading!!!
